Autumn favorites

This year I was really looking forward to autumn. I really love this season, it's the season when everything gets cozier. The cold sunny days are the best. Because it's colder you can layer your clothes and wear scarves and fuzzy socks. Unfortunatly it's already too cold for sweater weather here in Belgium but I don't really care because I bought the nicest and warmest coat ever recently, which I absolutely can not wait to wear!

I love getting all cosy in the evening with some candles, a blanket, a cup of tea and a good movie.
At least, that's what I have been doing for the past days :) Maybe a little early but you can also start getting excited for Christmas! The only downside for me this year is that I'll be studying during the holidays as I am going to university now and my exams are in January... Let's hope that goes well.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

Favorites

I adore this lipstick from Bourjois (shade 30). It's the perfect color for autumn.

I was  going to buy the Benefit 'Gimme brow' which costs €25, or either a Mac brow set (€16). I find them both more on the expensive side, so I was looking for a cheaper alternative. This brow mascara from Maybelline costs €8,99 and works amazing. It really keeps every hair in place and stays all day long. The shade dark blond is perfect for me.

I saw this beautiful necklace in 'WEAR' in Leuven the other day with my boyfriend. In store, I told him I really really liked it and guess what, he secretly bought it the next day! He's too sweet :)

This necklace really goes with every outfit, I am definetly going to wear this everyday. I also think it would look nice layered with other necklaces.

Last but not least, tea! I have been loving tea over the past few days. Especially with honey, which gives the tea a sweeter taste. My favorite is the Lemon Melisse by Ricola.

(Fake) Birckenstocks

I've seen these type of shoes already a couple of times on blogs and in youtube videos. I really did not think they were something for me until I tried them on, they are so comfortable and I think they go with a lot (shorts, pants, skirts, dresses,...). The Birckenstocks are around €60 but I got these ones from Sacha for only €25! I believe that's a good deal because they are just as comfortable and they basically look the same. I am definetly going to get a lot of use out of them as long as the good weather stays in Belgium.
Unfortunatly, I don't think you can get them anymore because they were already on sale... You can buy a similiar pair here

                                   The perfect leather jacket

I've had a jacket similiar to this from H&M for a good 2 years. Now, I thought it was time to start looking for a new one. I found this one in Zara (here) for a really good price. While I was shopping in Lissabon I saw it again and it was cheaper than in Belgium so I finally bought it. Since I'm back from Greece, the weather hasn't been that great, it's raining constantly. I actually don't mind because now I can wear my jacket everyday!

Mascara

I got the Benefit "They're Real!" mascara from my friends for my birthday. My other mascara was slowly running out so I was soooo happy with this present! I've been wanting to try out benefit cosmetics for a while now but I they're kind of on the expensive side. Although, they're probably worth the price because I can definetly say this is one is the best mascara I've ever tried! In September I'll be working again, which means I'll finally earn some money again to buy new stuff. I think I'm going to buy a lot of new make-up to try out and to write reviews about.  So stay tuned for that :)

SUMMER IN PORTUGAL

A week ago I went to Portugal with my boyfriend and his family. We stayed at the beautiful Praia d'el Rey Marriott Golf & Beach resort. As you can tell, the view was absolutely magnificient. Our appartement was nearby Obidos and an hour away from Lisbon. I had an amazing time and now I am looking forward to my birthday citytrip to London next Monday!

THE FAULT IN OUR STARS

Normally I don't really like reading books at all. I found this book about a year ago in a bookstore in London. When I read the back I thought the book would be too depressing. Now the movie is out, almost everyone is reading the book or has watched the movie so I decided to give it a try. I needed a book to read anyway since I was going on holiday. So, I bought it and immediatly loved it when I started reading. Despite that the story is obviously quite sad, John Green has a great sense of humor. I am so excited to watch the movie and read other books of him.
